Proteomics (Proteome ID):
Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-B (Fc-gamma RIII-beta) (Fc-gamma RIII) (Fc-gamma RIIIb) (FcRIII) (FcRIIIb) (FcR-10) (IgG Fc receptor III-1) (CD antigen CD16b)
Proteomics (Chromosome):

Mass Spectrometry:
N/A
Function [CC]:
Receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma. Low affinity receptor. Binds complexed or aggregated IgG and also monomeric IgG. Contrary to III-A, is not capable to mediate antibody-dependent cytotoxicity and phagocytosis. May serve as a trap for immune complexes in the peripheral circulation which does not activate neutrophils.

Tissue Specificity:
Expressed specifically by polymorphonuclear leukocytes (neutrophils). Also expressed by stimulated eosinophils.

Stability:
This bioreagent is stable at 4°C (short-term) and -70°C(long-term). After reconstitution, sample may be stored at 4°C for 2-7 days and below -18°C for future use.
Preparation:
Reconstitute in sterile distilled H2O to no less than 100ug/ml; dilute reconstituted stock further in other aqueous solutions if needed. Please review COA for lot-specific instructions. Final measurements should be determined by the end-user for optimal performance.
